Rebuild and flood-recovery work
The 2022 flood put water through much of the CBD, South Lismore and North Lismore, and a lot of that rebuilding is still working through. Full rewires, switchboards relocated well above the previous flood line, and outlets mounted high are all standard requests now. Where a house is being lifted or substantially rebuilt the electrical is effectively a new-build job, and it is far better planned at drawing stage than retrofitted afterwards.
